“We have been using this now for a few weeks, and it’s good.  Some of us have normal to oily skin and don’t see any problems with this making our faces oilier, it helps our make up go on smoother and hides those imperfections. One of us has an addiction to use Maybelline Superstay Foundation and concealer so can’t comment on staying power as it stays pretty well on its own, and didn’t see much of a difference with the primer. It doesn’t give break outs either which is a big plus. Overall a good product, nice price and love the packaging!”

“We just got this and are pleasantly surprised after one application. Some of us almost never buy drug store makeup, and pretty much only use “fancy” skin care, but this looked so interesting, we had to try it. We were looking for something FASTER in the morning. We bought just one to try on all of us before running out to buy our own, just as  a test to see how our skin reacts. A lot of reviewers didn’t like the applicator, but we loved it! It is super soft and easy to blend. The coverage is medium and the finish is not matte, but a bit more natural. You can build it a bit too. So surprised to see so many reviews saying it is greasy, we don’t find that at all – and most of us have oily skin. It has a sort of velvety texture.  Go onto the Maybelline website and see the colors first, then you will have a better idea of what is light, medium and dark, it is tough to tell in the store. The product has sunscreen and that is all we ask of our foundation, other than looking and feeling good on. Sunscreen is pretty much our best friend as we are always applying to the kids when they go out to play in the backyard.”

“We are huge fans of Maybelline eyeshadow! We bought this tester of  White, Aqua, Royal Blue and Black in the picture above. It’s a fantastic product and seems to be better than any other Maybelline eyeshadow, so they’re definitely improving their formulas.  One of us took a picture at the time of applicant and compared it with a photo taken after approximately 12 hours and it’s still on nearly as nice as it was when we applied it. The frosty white is a bit much for daytime so its suggest to be used as a matte white highlighter. Highly pigmented, long lasting staying power, smooth and soft to apply and blend. We send one of our girls out today to go buy several of the palettes for the rest of us. The toughest part about this product is the hard to open plastic package and the tiny narrow wand. We generally apply eye shadows with brushes, but like to have the applicators in case we have to slip it in a purse or overnight bag. The sponge on the wand is really too narrow to be effective. We actually have found them to be a seemingly higher quality than MAC, Estee Lauder, Too Faced or Urban Decay shadows.”

Lash Stiletto Voluptuous™ Washable Mascara

“We love stilettos, just can’t wear them, until we heard of this new Lash Stileeto Voluptuos Washable Mascara! You either love it or hate it. We’ve had better and worse. This product ha been given a rating of 7 out of 10 overall, price & packaging. We love those falsie looking lashes but wouldn’t use actual falsies. This mascara doesn’t provide the look of falsies compared to others we’ve tested, however, this does give noticeable volume & length. For our ladies, one coat did nothing but paint our lashes black. You need about 3 coats to notice anything. This mascara starts off wet but dries rapidly and doesn’t give any time to work with. After 3 coats, we experienced heavy clumping and brittleness. But this usually happens when you test out new mascaras. The brush IS a gimmick. The product would work the same with a straight brush. The end result after 3 coats were noticeable but not falsie looking lashes.”

Our lipstick collections are growing since we discovered Maybelline Color Sensational and Moisture Extreme lipsticks. We love Maybelline lipsticks better than any other drug store brand, even L’oreal which is totally overpriced!

Our Color Sensational lipstick collection is growing and includes: Park Ave Peach, Warm & Cozy, Warm Me Up, Totally Toffee and Tinted Taupe. The purchase price of these lipsticks averages around $5.00, which is dirt cheap. We bought three lipsticks for fifteen to twenty dollars vs. one tube from the department store. Warm Me Up is one of our favorites. These lipsticks are pigmented, creamy, frost free, and fairly long wearing. We find these lipsticks slightly drying, but just apply a coat of clear gloss or a lip balm to alleviate this issue.”
